Beta Notice: PetFinderNetwork.org and its volunteer coordination tools are in active development. Features, accuracy, and mission functions may change as improvements are released. Traditional lost pet recovery methods should continue to be used alongside TailTracker tools.

1. Overview

These Terms govern your use of PetFinderNetwork.org (the “Site”) and participation in the Lost Pet Finder Network (the “Finder Network”). By creating an account, receiving alerts, submitting sightings, or participating in recovery activities, you agree to these Terms.

2. Organizational Relationship

PetFinderNetwork.org is operated by the Lost Pet Finder Network, a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status pending. The Finder Network uses technology services provided by TailTracker Public Benefit Corp. (“TailTracker”) to support volunteer coordination, sighting intake, mapping, and mission functions.

TailTracker retains ownership of its software, trademarks, and platform features. Use of the Site does not grant any license to TailTracker intellectual property beyond what is required to use the Services.

Your Finder profile, alerts, and mission activity are stored using TailTracker’s technical systems. Information may be shared between the nonprofit and TailTracker solely to support mission operations, security, and platform improvement.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

6. No Guarantee of Results

Lost pet recovery is inherently unpredictable. The Site and mission tools provide guidance and coordination but make no guarantee of locating any pet or achieving a particular outcome.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

The nonprofit and TailTracker Public Benefit Corp. are not responsible for the conduct of volunteers, pet owners, or third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the nonprofit, TailTracker Public Benefit Corp., and their staff, directors, contractors, and volunteers are not liable for:

We may suspend or remove accounts for safety violations, misuse of the system, false reports, fraud, or any conduct that undermines trust in the Finder Network.
